1. How much food is provided?
In every location you will be served a portion size such as an appetizer. Don’t worry you’ll be very satisfied by the end of the tour!
2. What drinks are included in this tour?
You will have your choice of alcohol as well as non-alcoholic options. The cost is the same no matter your choice of drink.
3. What food intolerance's do you cater too?
We cater to lactose intolerant and celiac diets as well and when booking please note the number of people we need to accommodate so that we are better prepared for your needs while on the tour.
4. Can you cater to vegetarians?
Yes, we most definitely can! Please note how many people in your group are vegetarian when booking your tour so that we may accommodate your party.
5. Can you cater to vegans?
Yes and we are always working on presenting a large variety for to the vegan diet. Please note in your purchase when you're booking your tour so we may accommodate your party.
6. Can anyone of any age or disability do this tour?
Yes, the pace is slow and we will travel by vehicle to some of the locations. If you are in a wheel chair and need accommodations to get around easier please note that when making the appointment so we can be better prepared to fit your needs.
7. Can I plan a private tour?
Absolutely! Please contact us and we will accommodate you the best we can.
8. Is this tour suitable for single travelers?
Of course; this is the best way to meet other people! Please note that we do not run the tour if only one person is booked so you must be open to take the tour on another day. If we are unable to find another date that works for you, the full amount of your ticket will be refunded.
9. What should I bring with me?
Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses and bring a camera. If rain is forecasted please bring an umbrella or a poncho. Rarely is the rain cold here because of the tropical climate so you will not need a jacket unless it is waterproof.
10. Why is the tour in the evening?
You will find that evenings are cooler and most of the restaurants will definitely be open at this time. Also, your tour will end with you in mind and we can recommend places where you can end the night listening to music and enjoying cocktails.
11. Is this tour suitable for all ages?
Children 9 and up are welcome at a discounted price.
Children 8 and under are free. Refunds will not be given if you have to leave in the middle of a tour.
12. Where is the meeting point?
Parque Fundadores (Fundadores Park), “Founding Fathers Park” under the Portal Maya 2012 bronze sculpture. Don’t worry you can’t miss this magnificent work of art!
13. Where does the tour end?
The tours all end close to Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) so that you may do some shopping. Here you will be able to find your way back to your hotel or we can recommend establishments to your liking to end your night.
14. What is the latest I can book my tour?
You can book the tour up to midnight the day before but if you would like to book with us after the cut off time give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you.
15. What is the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, tours are non-refundable. If we need to cancel a tour and you cannot reschedule we will refund your money back to the card you used to book the tour.
16. Will the tour run regardless of the weather?
Rain or heat, we do operate. In case of extreme weather conditions we will reach out to you and reschedule.
17. Can I pay the tour in cash when we arrive to the meeting point?
For the safety of our guides and to avoid losing money we do not carry cash so all tours must be paid online.
18. When is the best time to visit Playa Del Carmen?
Now, is always the best time to visit Playa Del Carmen! It is a tropical climate so you will find it humid and hot on some days and many days it is breezy, cool and drizzling. From June to September is hurricane season and you will find fewer cruise ships, so less people flooding the streets. October to November the climate tends to allow for more walking and outdoor activities. If you are looking to visit mid-December to March I recommend booking six months ahead as this time of year you will find a rush of tourist come to Playa Del Carmen. April and May you have to be mindful of Easter holiday and Spring Equinox because that is when the Mexican natives escape to the beach for their own holiday!
19. Do you provide transportation to and from our hotel?
You are responsible for your means of transportation to the meeting point and from the drop off point at the end of the tour. If you would like us to schedule transportation for you and your party we can accommodate you for an additional cost.
20. Is tip included in the cost of the tour?
No, tips are not included and the guides greatly appreciate your tips for the wonderful service they guarantee to provide you.
21. How many people per tour?
We can accommodate up to 10 people per tour. If you would like to book for more people please refer to #7, private tours.
22. Do you provide the transportation from our hotel to the meeting place?
Transportation from your hotel to the meeting place is your responsibility. If you would like us to pick you up we can arrange it at a separate cost.
